Don't believe everything you read: while the incredibly shallow American media have tried to claim that arugula is somehow relevant (you perhaps saw the cover of Newsweek magazine?), exit polls showed that the primary voters yesterday were mainly concerned about the economy and the Iraq war, not about media-manufactured side issues.
Oh, and race was a factor with some voters, I'm afraid.
But Nicholas of Myra wasn't Protestant or Catholic. He was in Greek-speaking Anatolia, so if you want to use anachronous distinctions he was Orthodox.
May 5th? I was thinking 'Cinco de Mayo'! And I didn't hear about this arugula thing and I usually follow election things but not a reader of newsweek. The latest reason for Obama's mild decline was attributed to the actions of Rev. Wright, no mention of vegetables.
Hi,
5 Mei Bevrijdingsdag is my favorite time here in Wageningen :D ...
Wow, that link to the article about the 'cool cash' card is really amazing. For a moment a was convinced that I was reading an article of The Onion, with quotes like "I phoned Camelot and they fobbed me off with some story that -6 is higher - not lower - than -8 but I'm not having it."
